About Georgia Dome
The Georgia Dome is located at 1 Georgia Dome Dr NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30313 between downtown to the east and Vine City to the west.
The stadium has a seating capacity of 74,228 for football games but has a total capacity of 80,000.
The Georgia Dome first broke ground in November of 1989 and initially opened in September of 1992 at a construction cost of $214 million.
The Georgia Dome is the home field of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons and NCAA's Georgia State Panthers football team.

More than 4,000 parking spaces and a staging area for 200 buses adjacent to the facility. Parking is at a premium on event days not all lots are available for every event and some lots are pre-sold. Parking lots are open three hours prior to the start of kickoff.
Gate Locations and openings
There are four gate entrances at the Georiga Dome, gate A, B, C, and D are located on the north and south ends corners of the stadium. Gates are open 2 hours prior to the start of kickoff.
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). Small clutch bags of any kind, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
