He may stand at just 5’4”, but Kevin Hart has become one of the world’s biggest comedians since beginning his career in 2002. The 35-year-old Philadelphia native has humble beginnings; Hart’s father was a cocaine addict and career criminal, which often threatened the family’s ability to make ends meet. Growing up, Hart used laughter as a motivator among his peers to see past his family’s hardships. This would lead him to begin performing stand-up routines around the Philadelphia comedy circuit in his early 20s. Hart’s gift of the gab took time to perfect, and the comic got his first big break with a role in the 2003 film “Scary Movie 3”, a box office hit that grossed more than $220 million worldwide. Since then, Hart has gone on to appear in nearly 40 credited movies, including leading roles in the movie series “Think Like a Man” and “Ride Along”, both of which have spawned sequels. “Along Came Polly”, “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”, “Death at a Funeral” and “This Is the End” have all featured Hart. It isn’t just the big screen that the pint-size comedian has dominated over the past 13 years, however. Hart has already embarked on three massively successful comedy tours and will kick off his ‘What Now? Tour’ in April. Hitting 45 cities over five months, he’ll make history at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on August 30 and become the only comic to ever perform in a NFL venue. Kevin Hart tickets will be in high demand over his mega tour and the upcoming tour will likely be his highest-grossing tour yet.
