4-14-14: As always, Coachella featured a number of special guests both doing secret sets and performing with other artists. Blondie front woman Deborah Harry joined multi-insturmental outfit Arcade Fire on stage for a cover of Blondie's “Heart of Glass” as well as providing guest vocals for their song “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)”
Coachella is known for its special guests and this Saturday was no different. During Pharrell’s headlining set, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg. Then, during Nas’ set which included most songs off his 1994 classic, Illmatic, he brought out Jay-Z and Beyonce.
4-8-14: In what's sure to anger general fans of the Coachella Festival, reports have come out that numerous celebrities are being paid up to $20,000 to attend the festival and promote different brands. Among the list are Aaron Paul ($15,000), Vanessa Hudgens ($15,000), and Joe Jonas ($20,000). The festival is sold out and the average price for a 3 day pass on the secondary market is $881.
4-3-14: Both weekends of Coachella will get a live stream on the internet for those who cannot attend the festival. The first will be live streamed by Youtube while the second weekend will be live streamed by AXS TV. Weekend 1 passes currently average $1,252 on the secondary market, while weekend 2 averages $721.
3-26-14: The podcast B-Sides on Air released their list of 10 bands to see at the Coachella Festival. The list included: Woodkid, MS MR, Surfer Blood, Dum Dum Girls, Laura Mvula, The Replacements, Bonobo, Jagwar Ma, Graveyard, and John Newman. A three pass for weekend 1 currently averages $955 on the secondary market.
3-24-14: With Coachella just 3 weeks away, the average ticket price for a 3-day pass of Weekend 1 on the secondary market is $933. Weekend 2 is significantly cheaper, averaging $723. 976 passes are available for the first weekend, while 1030 are listed for weekend 2. Coachella has also announced a new chefs portion of the festival.
3-19-14: EDM megastar Skrillex secretly released a new album called “Recess”. The Coachella headliner got the idea of a secret album from Nine Inch Nails front man Trent Reznor's secret album “Year Zero”. The album features guest appearances from Passion Pit, Chance The Rapper, the Ragga Twins, and Kill the Noise.
3-17-14: There are now 2,125 tickets for Coachella available on TiqIQ with an average price of $814.46. 1,008 3-day passes for the opening April 11th weekend with an average price of $899.44, which is down 4% in the last week. The get-in price for those 3-day passes is $440. For the second weekend of April 18th, there are 1,117 3-day passes available with an average price of $737.78 and a get-in price of $408. Those tickets are down 2% in the last seven days.
3-13-14: We now have 2163 tickets for Coachella available for the two weekend music festival in April. The average price is currently $830.06. For the first weekend, the average price is $936.04, the get-in is $450 and there are 993 tickets available. Three-day passes for the 2nd weekend are currently averaging $740.12, the get-in price is $399, and there are 1170 tickets available.
3-12-14: Coachella performer Beck has announced a handful of US tour dates to coincidence with the release of new album “Morning Phase”. Besides Coachella, Beck will hit Tuscon, El Paso, Cleveland, Columbus, North Adams, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, the Central Park Summer Stage and multiple festivals in Texas, Delaware, Chicago, and Kentucky.
3-11-14: California rock staples KROQ are offering their listeners 2 chances everyday to win tickets to the sold out Coachella Festival. The 20th caller during the 9am and 5pm hours each get a 3-day pass. This year's lineup includes station mainstays like Muse, Arcade Fire, OutKast, Lorde, AFI, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Foster The People.
3-4-14: Under 1,000 three-day pass Coachella tickets are available for the music festival’s first weekend from April 11-13. The average price for a three-day pass on the first weekend is $892.93. The second weekend, April 18-20 still has over 1,000 secondary market three-day passes available at an average price of $728.30.
3-3-14: Under 1,000 tickets are available on the secondary market for Coachella Music Festival in April. With the festival almost a month away, Coachella tickets have an average price of $913.10 for a three-day pass on the first weekend from April 11-13.
2-28-14: Liam Gallagher’s band Beady Eye, Oasis without Noel Gallagher, has pulled out of its spot at Coachella this year. The withdrawal comes amid report the band split with its manager. Coachella tickets are still selling well at an average secondary market price of $959.44 for a three-day pass.
2-27-14: It’s not one of the main stages, but the Do Lab will be celebrating its tenth year at Coachella in 2014. Bringing the biggest electronic artists to the Coachella Festival, the Do Lab has had a spotlight as one of the biggest side stages since 2004 giving electronic fans with Coachella tickets a stage of their own.
2-26-14: Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett has been named as a late addition to the Coachella lineup. Barnett is not widely known without a debut full-length album yet, but puts on a great live show. Coachella tickets currently have an average price of $941.12 on the secondary market for a three-day pass.
2-25-14: Coachella tickets always sell out fast after the lineups are announced and tickets go on sale. This year’s festival is no different, headlined by OutKast, Muse and Arcade Fire. The average price for three-day pass on the secondary market is $927.41.
2-24-14: The Coachella music festival has announced its slate of 2014 sideshows to fill the time between the festival’s two weekends. Across Los Angeles, bands like HAIM, MGMT and Foster the People will be playing venues surrounding the festival, giving fans who were not able to get Coachella tickets before they sold out a chance to still get a taste of the festival’s music.
2-19-14: Coachella has announced artists for a series of side shows in venues around Los Angeles that will happen in-between the two Coachella Music Festival weekends in April. Several acts announced includes HAIM, MGMT, Foster the People, Motörhead, Bryan Ferry, Chromeo, Mogwai, CHVRCHES, Broken Bells, Neko Case, The Afghan Whigs, Cage the Elephant, Dum Dum Girls, Little Dragon, Future Islands, DJ Falcon, Factory Floor, The Dodos, and Grouplove.
2-17-14: 2,743 Coachella Music Festival tickets are now available with an overall average price of $802.46, keeping Coachella tickets at the top of the 2014 Music Festival ticket price rankings. 1,059 Coachella tickets are available for the first weekend starting on April 11th with an average price of $889.60 and a get-in price of $464. 1,684 Coachella tickets are available for the second weekend starting on April 18th with an average price of $747.66 and a get-in price of $443.

2-10-14: Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals of the year and with only 2,786 Coachella tickets available, the demand could continue to outpace the supply. The average price for all available tickets is $828. The cheapest day of the festival is April 18 with an average price of $770 and a get-in price of $438. The most expensive day of the festival is April 11 with an average price of $899 and a get-in price of $475.
1-31-14: Cocahell Music Festival tickets are now averaging $824.78 and there 2,994 tickets available. There are 1350 3-day passes for the first week available on TiqIQ with an average price of $883.88 and a get-in price of $490. For the second week the average price is $776.25 with a get-in price of $417 and there are 1,644 tickets available.

Muse, Arcade Fire, and the reunion of Outkast are just a few of the headliners at this year’s festival in Indio, California. Compared to face value, which is $375 for a 3 day pass, the resale markets lowest price ticket available is $425 for the second weekend of the festival. Even compared to 2012’s festival featuring acts, such as, Bon Iver, the average price wasn’t as high, $603.01. Some may look at the prices and say they are steep to attend an event, but with the star power and the amount of acts that take place over the 3-day fesitival there will be many people willing to lay out the cash. If you are a fan of EDM artist Zedd or pop up and comer Ellie Goulding, Coachella tickets are must.
