Renowned for their annual summer long tours, support of taping culture and vibrant blend of pop, funk, jazz and worldbeat, Dave Matthews Band are one of America’s most popular live acts of the past twenty years. Formed in Charlottesville, Virginia, frontman Dave Matthews, drummer Carter Beauford, saxophonist LeRoi Moore and bassist Stefan Lessard first released Dave Matthews Band tickets for a gig at their hometown’s Trax venue in 1991. While after adding violinist Boyd Tinsley to their core line-up a year later, they began to establish themselves on the national college circuit by allowing fans with Dave Matthews Band tickets to tape shows for their own personal use. In 1993, the group released the independent album, Remember Two Things, and Dave Matthews Band tickets for a gig at Virginia’s The Birchmere that would be recorded for the live E.P., Recently, before signing a major-label deal with RCA. A year later sophomore Under the Table and Dreaming spawned their first US Top 40 hit, “Ants Marching.” While after picking up a Grammy Award for “So Much To Say,” the second single from 1996’s Crash, the group teamed up with the federal government for a crackdown on bootleggers who bought Dave Matthews Band tickets to record shows for a profit. In 1997, they released Live At Red Rocks 8.15.95, which paved the way for a string of future live albums recorded in front of fans with Dave Matthews Band tickets, and went onto score their first US chart-topper with 1998’s Before These Crowded Streets. After playing Woodstock ’99, the group released Dave Matthews Band tickets for a PBS special in New Jersey before setting up their own studio where they worked on 2001’s slickly-produced Everyday. Following 2002’s Busted Stuff and solo efforts from Matthews and Tinsley, the group gave away Dave Matthews Band tickets for free shows in New York and San Francisco and joined Bruce Springsteen’s Vote For Change tour. 2005’s Stand Up continued their run of number ones, producing their biggest hit in “American Baby.” But tragedy struck in 2008 when Moore died of complications stemming from an ATV accident. After naming 2009’s Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King in his honor, the group recruited Bela Fleck & The Flecktones’ Jeff Coffin as his replacement and celebrated their 20th anniversary by releasing Dave Matthews Band tickets for a series of multi-day multi-artist events. In 2012, they became the first outfit to score six consecutive US No.1 albums with Away From The World and a year later grossed over $40 million in sales of Dave Matthews Band tickets for their summer tour. In 2014, they released A Very Special Evening With Dave Matthews Band tickets for a unique electric/acoustic trek across North America.
