About Ford Field
Ford Field is located at 2000 Bush Street in downtown Detroit, Michigan 48226.
The stadium has a seating capacity of 65,000 for football games, but can be expanded to 70,000 for other events.
Ford Field first broke ground in November of 1999 and initially opened in August of 2002 at a construction cost of $430 million.
Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions of the NFL.
From Southwest Detroit, Downriver Suburbs and Toledo
Route 1: Follow northbound I-75 (Fisher Freeway) and exit at Grand River Avenue (Exit 50). Proceed on the I-75 Service Drive across Grand River and Woodward Avenues. Continue on the Service Drive and turn right on Brush St. Proceed one block and turn left on to Montcalm, Ford Field will be on the right.
Route 2: Follow northbound I-75 (Fisher Freeway) and exit Gratiot Ave South. Sharp right turn on Gratiot. Continue on Gratiot and Ford Field will be on the right.
From Ann Arbor, Metro Airport and Western Suburbs
Route 1: Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) eastbound to southbound I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) to I-375 and exit at Madison Avenue (exit on the left). Turn right at the first light, St. Antoine. Proceed one block and Ford Field will be on the left.
Route 2: Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) eastbound to Woodward/John R exit. Turn right on John R and proceed to the I-75 Service Drive. Turn left on the Service Drive and proceed one block to Brush. Turn right on Brush and proceed one block. Ford Field will be on the left.
Parking facilities adjacent to Ford Field and Comerica Park are available during games and events on a first come, first serve basis. The Ford Field Parking Deck and Lots 4, 5 & 6 are managed by Ampco System Parking. Lots 1, 2, 3, W, and the Lions/Tigers Garage are the closest lots managed by Olympia Entertainment. There are numerous parking lots surrounding Ford Field that operate public parking.
Gate Locations and Openings
There are 7 gate entrances at Ford Field, gate A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Gates are located at the north and south ends of the stadium. Gates are open 2 hours prior to the start of kickoff.
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.

Ford Field Club Sections & Lounges
It offers dining at The Hall of Legends or at one of the Mini Restaurants and features the best cuisine of iconic Detroit eateries (Slows To-Go, Russell St. Deli, Mercury Burger Bar to name a few). If Bloody Marys are your game day tradition, enjoy one of Levy Restaurants’ signature Bloody Marys from our specialty portable located near section 209. The Huntington Club also features craft cocktails by Sugar House (section 206) and Zingerman’s gelato (section 213). Guests can access the Huntington Club via both sets of escalators at Gates A or G. Guests may also use the Beaubien or Gate G elevators to the 3rd floor. The Huntington Club remains open up to two hours after the conclusion of a Lions home game.
It offers plenty of lounge seating and televisions to entertain and is home to two full service bars, including the 313 Lounge. Try some of Slow’s To-Go famous barbecue or a gourmet sausage from Corridor Sausage Co. The North Club & 313 Lounge will remain open up to two hours
after a Lions home game. Guests can access the North Club via the Gate D elevators on the 1st level (Sec. 128/129) and the 2nd level (Sec. 232/233) to the 3rd floor. Stair access is also available on the 2nd level.
The Cub Zone is available for children who are accompanied by an adult during Detroit Lions home games. The Cub Zone is located near Section 347 on the upper concourse above Gate A. Face painters, visits with Roary, information about the Cub Club and Youth Football, along with other activities, will be available for children until the end of the 2nd quarter.
