9-16-14: The ranked BYU Cougars played the Houston Cougars this week in a Thursday night game at LaVell Edwards Stadium that was showcased on ESPN. BYU went into the game looking to stay undefeated and Houston went into the game looking for their second victory of the season but BYU was too much for Houston as they fell to BYU 33-25. BYU would put it away with a field goal in the third and a touchdown early in the fourth to take a commanding 33-15 lead. The BYU defense would allow two more field goals in the game to end it 33-25 but this game was not as close as the final score would suggest.
