Michigan Wolverines Football
Michigan Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke is entering his 4th season with college football program that has gone through up and downs in the three years Hoke has been the Head Coach. In Hoke’s first year, he led the program to a 10-2 regular season winning, earning a trip to the Sugar Bowl defeating Virginia Tech in overtime earning their first bowl win since the 2007 season. Michigan has since regressed the past two seasons winning only 8 games in 2012 and 7 games in 2013. Despite some mediocre seasons the past two years, Michigan football tickets still have a high average asking price in the secondary market for their upcoming Michigan football schedule at Michigan Stadium.
Though Michigan football tickets are not ranked in the top 25 of the most expensive in the nation, Michigan football tickets are not cheap either with a current average price of $121.44 in the secondary market.
The Michigan football schedule at Michigan Stadium kicks off on August 30 as the Wolverines host the Appalachian State Mountaineers as Michigan football tickets for this game has a current average price of $88.43, one of the cheaper games on the Michigan football schedule for Michigan football tickets.
Currently on the Michigan football schedule at Michigan Stadium there are three games where Michigan football tickets will have an asking average price of over $100. The most expensive game on the Michigan football schedule is their October 11 matchup with rival Notre Dame as Michigan football tickets for this game have a current average price of $198.08 in the secondary market as Michigan looks to gain revenge on Notre Dame losing to the Nittany Lions in a wild overtime game last season.
Other games on the Michigan football schedule include games with the Minnesota Golden Golphers, Indiana Hoosiers, and Maryland Terrapins as all of these games will be over $100 in asking average price for Michigan football tickets.
Entering this season, Brady Hoke and the Michigan college football program have had roster deficiencies the past three seasons lacking in depth at the corner and safety positions with undersized lineman on defense. However, four Hoke recruiting classes later the defense seems to be as strong as ever with many athletes and depth at linebacker and defensive lineman.
However, as with the potential and depth the defense now possess, it won’t matter if the offense does not drastically improve this year especially with the offensive line as the Michigan Offense struggled in 2013 especially running the football. Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner is capable of providing big plays especially with his legs but the offense also went through long periods of no production at all.
Still, Devin Garner has been as unpredictable as they come and it will be interesting to see if he can hold on to the starting quarterback positon for one more year as he is capable of some big time performances. With the overwhelming weak schedule Michigan has this season they can certainly become a top 15 or top 20 team again.
