10-20-14: The Cowboys were dismantled by TCU 42-9 on Saturday. OK-State had won five in a row since losing their opener 37-31 to defending national champion Florida State, but this is their most lopsided loss since 56-20 at Texas Tech back in 2008. Quarterback Daxx Garman was just 10 of 25 for 132 yards with two interceptions. Mike Gundy’s squad will host AP No. 22 West Virginia this week.
10-15-14: The Cowboys needed a kickoff return touchdown from Tyreek Hill and a late defensive stop to escape with a 27-20 win over an awful Kansas team. Hill's 99-yard return with 6:43 left in the game came right after the Jayhawks tied the game at 20. Oklahoma State managed only 275 yards of total offense. OK-State travels to Fort Worth to take on TCU this week.
10-6-14: Oklahoma State used plays on special teams to spark their fourth straight win 37-20 over Iowa State. Running back Desmond Roland finished with 95 rushing yards and two TDs on the day. OK State quarterback Daxx Garman shook threw interceptions and passed for 271 yards and a TD. The Cowboys play a pathetic Kansas team this week.
10-1-14: The Cowboys, who are 3-1 on the year, used a quick-strike offense and a solid defense to win their conference opener 45-35 over Texas Tech, with quarterback Daxx Garman leading the attack. Garman threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for a TD. The Cowboys’ defense knocked Red Raider quarterback Davis Webb out with a shoulder injury, and picked off three passes. Ok-State hosts Iowa State this weekend.
9-22-14: The Cowboys had a bye this past week, but will open Big 12 play with a Thursday game against Texas Tech. This will be a good test to see what QB Daxx Garman can do in place of the injured J.W. Walsh. Garman threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns in place of against UTSA last time out. In two games, he has 559 yards and no interceptions but is only completing 57.1 percent of his passes. Expect Oklahoma State to beat up on a porous Red Raider defense.
9-15-14: OSU backup quarterback Daxx Garman was 16 of 30 for 315 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys 43-13 win over UTSA. Starting quarterback J.W. Walsh, who was injured in the first quarter against Missouri State last week, underwent surgery this past Thursday. Reports have him missing anywhere from 6-8 weeks to the remainder of the season. Garman seems more than capable to take control of the offense. Ok-State will host Texas Tech this coming weekend.
9-9-14: QB Daxx Garman threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns to lead Oklahoma State to a 40-23 victory over Missouri State this past Saturday. Garman entered the contest late in the first quarter, for injured starter J.W. Walsh. Walsh suffered a possible ankle sprain and could be out for a significant amount of time. The Cowboys were already missing starting running back Desmond Roland, who was injured in the squad's season-opening 37-31 loss to top-ranked Florida State. Oklahoma State plays host to University of Texas-San Antonio this weekend.
9-4-14: Despite opening the 2014-15 season with a loss for the first time since 2007, Oklahoma State may have made one of the biggest impressions of any Week 1 team that failed to win a game. The Cowboys played defending champion Florida State down to the wire, rallying from a 17-0 second-quarter deficit to keep the game within reach until they final minutes. They ultimately fell to the Seminoles 37-31, but their defense was able to shutdown the FSU running attack and pester Heisman winner Jameis Winston all night. The Cowboys will almost certainly get a win this weekend when they play Missouri State at home.
