Now is the time to get your 49ers tickets. Fans that have their tickets for this year will experience their own personal gold rush. Last year Coach Jim Harbaugh instilled a can-do-attitude, and led the team to the verge of another Super Bowl. Starting play in the All-America Football Conference in 1946, the 49ers moved to the NFL in 1950. During the 50's, the 49ers had a “Million Dollar Backfield”, composed of running backs John Henry Johnson, Hugh McElhenny, Joe Perry, and led by quarterback Y.A. Tittle. They are the only full house backfield inducted in the Hall of Fame. John Brodie would continue the great quarterbacking tradition of the 49ers, by knocking on the door of the Super Bowl three years in a row. With the arrival of Bill Walsh and Joe Montana at the end of the 70’s, the 49ers would banish the ghosts of the past. Bill Walsh installed the “West Coast Offense” and Joe Montana proved to be the perfect quarterback to run the system. In 1981, all of America watched as Dwight Clark caught Joe Montana's 16-yard pass in the back of the endzone, bringing down America’s Team in the NFC Championship game. Known as "The Catch", the play ranks as one of the greatest catches in NFL history. With that catch, a dynasty was born, and fans snatched up 49ers tickets like gold nuggets. The 49ers would roll through the 80’s and early 90’s. The 49ers brought home the gold in Super Bowls, having won all five in which they have made an appearance. Get your 49ers tickets and buckle your seat belts for what promises to be another year of smash-mouth football, Harbaugh style.

12-4-12: Even though the San Francisco 49ers sit in first place at 8-3, all anybody can talk about is the Quarterback controversy that was born when Alex Smith lost his job to a concussion. Colin Kaepernick has since made three starts and has a record of 2-1, but with the latest loss to the Rams, the controversy should only get worse. Smith is now healthy again and doesn’t seem pleased to have lost his job. With a home game against the Dolphins coming up it will be interesting to see who the 49ers start under center.

1-9-13: The San Francisco 49ers are one of the most physical teams in football. With a great running game featuring power-back Frank Gore and an all-star caliber core of Linebackers, they are a tough beat anywhere, especially at home. The 49ers only lost once at home all year and they earned a bye week with a record of 11-4-1. Since quarterback Colin Kaepernick took over the Niners have added a new dimension to their offense with the QB option play. They will face Green Bay in the Divsional Playoffs this weekend and it will be a true test for them. The Niners have overcome high powered offenses before such as the New England Patriots but they cannot be satisfied just yet. Saturday will be an interesting game to say the least as the two traditional franchises square off in San Francisco.

1-20-13: The 49ers are now headed to the Super Bowl after defeating the Atlanta Falcons 28-24 in the NFC Championship game. They will face the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans on February 3rd.
