From the South via 79 North
Take 79 North to 376 Business towards Pittsburgh. Head through the Ft. Pitt Tunnel and bear right towards Monroeville. Take the first exit on the left (Grant Street) to 7th Avenue and turn right to arrive at the Consol Energy Center.
From the East via 22 West and 376 West
Take 22 West to 376 West through the Squirrel Hill Tunnel. Take the Grant Street Exit to 7th Avenue and turn right to arrive at the Consol Energy Center.
From the West via 22 East and 376 Business
Take Route 22 East to 376 Business through the Ft. Pitt Tunnel and bear right towards Monroeville. Take the first exit on the left (Grant Street) to 7th Avenue and turn right to arrive at the Consol Energy Center.
By Public Transportation
A number of bus routes make stops along Fifth Avenue near Consol Energy Center and outbound stops along Forbes Avenue. These routes include 61A East Pittsburgh-Wilkinsburg, 61B Braddock-Swissvale, 61C McKeesport-Homestead, 61D Murray, 71A Negley, 71C Point Breeze, 71D Hamilton, and 500 Highland Park-Bellevue.
There are six (6) main parking areas available for guests traveling to Consol Energy Center by car. They are the Garage, Melody Tent Lot, and North, South, East and West Lots.
Price varies in each lot is connection to proximity to the venue. Daytime parking typically ranges from $6-$8 in all six lots.
Gate Locations and openings
There are three main gates accessible to the public when entering Consol Energy Center. They are the Verizon Gate, which is located at the northwestern section of the venue, the Trib Total Media Gate, which is located at the southwestern section of the venue, and the American Eagle Gate, located at the southeastern section. The Verizon Gate is the closest gate in proximity to the largest number of parking lots Consol Energy Center offers.
Guests may only carry clear plastic or vinyl bags that do not exceed the size of 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc) will be permitted as well as small handbags and purses. Staff personnel have the right to check all bags at random before guests enter the venue. Failure to comply with staff will result in being denied access into the Consol Energy Center.
