The Falcons joined the National football League in 1965, have gone on to a record of 298-402-6. Holders of Falcons tickets have the had opportunity to watch the team win divisional championships in 1980, 1998, 2004 and most recently in 2010. The team made its only Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl XXXIII, but was unable to secure a victory. The start of the Falcons 2008 season marked the beginning of a streak that of four consecutive winning seasons, the first time such an event has happened in the team's history. The team also leads the National Football League in wins over the past four seasons, a streak that has given fans with Atlanta Falcons tickets the chance to witness 43 victories in all. This winning streak starter after the 2007 season that saw the team's head coach resign without notice and the arrest of former franchise quarterback, Michael Vick. Holders of Atlanta Falcons tickets endured a season in which the Falcons finished 4-12, a far cry from the performances they would have in the seasons to come. Currently, the Falcons are enjoying the NFL's second highest home win percentage and fans with Atlanta Falcons tickets have been thrilled to see the team make the playoffs for the past three seasons.

Atlanta Falcons tickets have granted admission to the Georgia Dome, since its opening in 1992. With a cost of $214 million, the 71,000 seat stadium has long suffered from weather related issues that affect its roof. The integrity of the Georgia dome's roof first became an issue only three years after it opened when a severe storm dumped enough rain to tear through the fabric and causing a section of roof to fall into the stadium. The storm was so intense that the roof panels could be seen moving during the game. Fortunately, no one was injured, as the roof collapsed after fans had already exited the stadium. The Georgia Dome and its roof have since been repaired in a way that keeps such problems from becoming an issue for those who hold Atlanta Falcons tickets. Together with, Freddie Falcon, the team's mascot of more than 35 years, fans and residents in possession of Atlanta Falcons tickets gather for home games and enjoy the chance to lend their support to their team. The 2002 season brought with it new management, and restored excitement and enthusiasm among fans and residents interested in the chance to take in a home game. Increased opportunities for parking, tailgating, and lower prices for Atlanta Falcons tickets marked the start of a new trend; with every game of the 2002 season being sold out. The popularity the team enjoys with its fan base is one of the cornerstones of the Falcons culture, a team that delights in the support of both its fans and the region that it calls home.

12-4-12: The Atlanta Falcons have not only clinched their division but they also possess the best record in Football. At 11-1 and with the 3-9 Panthers on deck for them, some may wonder if this team may pack it in and rest some players in preparation for the playoffs. While that is a risky move it may prove wise in order to keep certain players healthy. With their only loss coming on the road, the Falcons will look to host each round of the NFC playoffs in their home, the Georgia Dome.

1-9-13: The Falcons won 13 games this year earning the wild card bye week and home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. They will face a young and hungry Seattle Seahawks team for the first time this year. The Falcons have been unbelievable at home this season using the dome to their advantage. Matt Ryan and their high powered air attack will meet a legitimate test against Seattle’s tall and talented corners. The offensive line will also be tested against Seattle’s fast defensive linemen. Matt Ryan threw for over 4,000 yards this year and will need to look for more of the same type of success if Atlanta wants to back up its 13-3 record and make a title push.

1-20-13: After defeating the Seahawks in the Divisional round, the Falcons dream season came to an end in the NFC Championship game, losing 28-24 to the 49ers.
