Directions

By Car:

From Downtown Ottawa

Take Highway 417 (the Queensway) west to the Palladium Drive Exit. The 4 lane arena-specific interchange will head directly to the Air Canada Centre.

From South of Ottawa

Follow Highway 31 or Highway 416 to the 417. Head West on Highway 417 to the Palladium Drive Exit.

From Outaouais Region

Take the Portage Bridge across the Ottawa River. Proceed on Wellington Street to Lyon Street and head south on Lyon Street to Highway 417 (the Queensway). Follow the Queensway West to the Palladium Drive Exit.

From West of Ottawa

Take either Highway 7 or Highway 17 to Highway 417(the Queensway). Follow the Queensway East to the Palladium Drive Exit.

By Bus

The OC Transpo Bus has several routes that connect to the Canadian Tire Centre. The OC Transpo routes 401, 402, 403, 404 and 405 all connect to the venue. For smaller events, use route 404.

Parking

There are seven (7) accessible parking lots surrounding the Canadian Tire Centre. They are listed numerically from 1-9, with the exception of Lots 2 and 8. Lots 1 and 3 are the closest to the venue while 4, 5,6,7 and 9 all lie further away. Parking price varies based on the proximity of the lot (i.e. 1 will likely be more expensive than 9).

Gates and Openings

The Canadian Tire Centre has three (3) main accessible gates to the public. They are labeled as Gate 1, located on the western side of the stadium, the Dodge Gate, located in the southeastern section of the stadium, and Gate 3, located at the northwestern section of the venue. Gates will typically open 60 minutes prior to the start of an event.

Bag Policy

Bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” will be permitted into Canadian Tire Centre. This is in compliance with the bag policy of the NFL, which allows fans to safely and comfortably fit bags underneath seats. All bags are subject to search by venue personnel. If fans fail to comply with standard bag search procedure, they risk being denied access to the event.
