From the North - Take U.S. 23 south to I-94 West. From I-94 West, follow signs from Detroit Metro Airport.
From the South - (Toledo) Take U.S. 23 north to I-94 West. From I-94 West, follow signs from Detroit Metro Airport.
From the East - (Detroit Metro Airport) Take I-94 West to Ann Arbor-Saline Road (exit 175). At exit 175, make a right on to Ann Arbor-Saline Road until it turns into Main Street (about 1.5 miles). Michigan Stadium is located on the northeast corner of Main Street and Stadium Boulevard.
From the West - (Chicago) Take I-94 East to Ann Arbor-Saline Road (exit 175). At exit 175, make a left on to Ann Arbor-Saline Road until it turns into Main Street (about 1.5 miles). Michigan Stadium is located on the northeast corner of Main Street and Stadium Boulevard.
Many of Michigan Stadium surrounding parking lots open at 6 am the day of the game.
The majority of lots are accessed by parking permit only, though several particular lots start at $20.
The Thompson St. Structure & Surface and Hill St. Parking Structure begin pricing at $20 and open at 8 am while the U-M Golf Course offers $40 parking on three individual streets (Stadium Boulevard, State Street and Main Street). These lots open at 7 am.
Gate Locations and Openings:
Gates 1, 2, 4, 8 and 9 are open to the general public two hours prior to kickoff and close one hour after the game. These gates are located at the perimeter of Michigan Stadium. Gate 10 opens to students only two hours prior to kickoff and closes one hour after the game. This gate is located in the northeast corner of Michigan Stadium. The Jack Roth Stadium Club entrance opens to east side club and suite level ticketholders 2.5 hours prior to kickoff and closes one hour after the game. This gate is located off the Blue Lot (North of Gate 1 and tunnel). The Ross Tower Lobby for West side suite level ticketholders opens 2.5 hours prior to kickoff and closes one hour after the game. This gate is located off Main Street (south of Gate 8).\
A bag check area is located inside Crisler Center at the south gate off Stadium Way. Fans can check specific items that are not allowed inside the stadium, though cash, alcohol, illegal drugs, food, video cameras and weapons are prohibited from being checked. Items must be picked up within 45 minutes after the game. Fans assume all risk if checked items are lost during the game. If fans miss the 45-minute deadline, they are encouraged to call Crisler Center at (734) 763-1659 to claim their item(s) the following Monday.
