Rogers Arena is located at 800 Griffiths Way in the downtown area of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The indoor sports arena has a seating capacity of 18,910 for hockey games, 19,000 for concert events, and 19,700 for basketball games.
Rogers Arena first broke ground in July of 1993 and initially opened in September of 1995 at a construction cost of $160 million.
Rogers Arena is the home of the Vancouver Canucks of the NHL.
From the Fraser Valley
Follow Highway 1 west. Take the 1st Avenue exit and follow 1st Avenue until you reach Quebec Street. Turn right on Quebec Street and follow it until the road forks. Take the left fork onto Expo Blvd. Follow Expo Blvd to Rogers Arena.
From Horseshoe Bay/West Vancouver
Follow Highway 1 east. Take the Taylor Way exit and travel south. Turn left on Marine Drive. Take the exit for the Lions Gate Bridge and travel through Stanley Park. Follow Georgia Street through downtown to Beatty Street, then turn left. Turn right on Pender Street, then turn right again onto Abbott Street, which takes you to the arena.
Follow Highway 17 north until you intersect Highway 99. Follow Highway 99 north over the Oak Street Bridge. Follow Oak Street north until you reach 49th Avenue. Turn right on 49th Avenue and then left on Cambie Street. Follow Cambie Street onto the Cambie Street Bridge and take the first exit onto Pacific Blvd, leading to Rogers Arena.
From Peace Portal Border Crossing
Follow Highway #99 north. Cross over the Oak Street Bridge and follow Oak Street north until you reach 49th Avenue. Turn right on 49th Avenue and then turn left onto Cambie Street. Follow Cambie Street onto the Cambie Street Bridge and take the first exit onto Pacific Blvd, leading to Rogers Arena.
There are 7,000 parking spots around the Rogers Arena that is about a 15 minute walk from each of the parking lots, including the underground lot located at the Westside of the arena.
Parking prices depending on the event but can cost around $12 to $15.
Gate Locations and openings
Door opening times vary depending on the event, but usually doors will open about 60 minutes prior to the start of a scheduled event. There are four public entrances located at the North, South, West, and East ends of the venue.
Bags will be checked prior to entering Rogers Arena. Various items can be allowed entry including video cameras, oversized bags, wheelchairs, and strollers.
