From the East via I-40 and I-235 North
Take I-40 to I-235 North. From I-235 North, use Exit 1C to travel westbound to Sheridan Avenue. Follow Sheridan Avenue to E.K. Gaylord Boulevard and turn south. Follow to Reno Avenue and turn west. Follow signs to the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
From the West via I-40
Take I-40 to Shields Boulevard and exit North. Shields Boulevard turns into E.K. Gaylord Boulevard. Turn west on Reno Avenue and follow signs to the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
By Public Transit
Fans can also use the Oklahoma City Embark bus service to travel to the game, which is a bus service that uses several routes to stop near and around Chesapeake Energy Arena.
There are a variety of parking options when driving to an event at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, including the Cox Convention Center Underground Garage, the Santa Fe Garage, Bricktown Lots and Downtown Parking.
The Cox Convention Center Underground Garage is the closest public parking option to the arena and is located just across Reno Avenue. Public parking is typically $6 for events.
The Santa Fe Garage is located slightly north of E.K. Gaylord Boulevard. Parking begins at $5 for events.
The Bricktown Lots, located along Reno Avenue, are just a short walk to the arena and public parking typically begins at $5.
Fans are also encouraged to search for Downtown Parking, which is usually free when finding a public spot.
Gate Locations and openings
There are two (2) main entrances to the arena located on the north side of Reno Avenue. Guests may also enter by the Old No. 7 Club, which is located on the west side of the arena. Doors usually open 90 minutes prior to game or event time at Chesapeake Energy Arena, though openings are scheduled to change.
Fans are encouraged not to bring bags to events, although small purses and handbags will be admitted into the stadium. Venue staff has the right to search all bags at any given time. Failure to comply with staff will result in patrons being unable to enter Chesapeake Energy Arena. All air horns, umbrellas, strollers and other large items also will not permitted into the arena.
