12-22-14: The Bowling Green vs. South Alabama game may have been the most exciting game of the day as the Falcons edged out the Jaguars 33-28. South Alabama got off to a slow start and Bowling Green took a 20-7 lead into halftime. The Jags would pull to within one score in the third quarter, but then immediately gave up another touchdown to go down by two scores again. Somehow South Alabama managed a fourth-quarter comeback and the Jaguars took 28-27 lead with 1:20 left in the game. Well, that would be short lived as 16 seconds later James Knapke would hit Roger Lewis for a 78-yard touchdown pass to give Bowling Green the lead for good. Knapke finished the day with with 368 yards passing and two touchdowns, while Lewis finished with four catches for 137 yards.
