Hailing from Las Vegas, Imagine Dragons have quickly become one of the biggest alternative music bands in the country. With their success, Imagine Dragons tickets have been some of the most sought after concert tickets on the secondary market. Their debut album in 2012, Night Visions, peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard charts and has been certified platinum in eight countries. In 2013, the band was named “The Breakthrough Band of 2013” by Billboard and their hit single, “Radioactive,” was named by Rolling Stone as “the biggest rock hit of the year.” In February, “Radioactive,” reached 77 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100, the longest run surpassing “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz, which spent 76 weeks on the chart.

The band starting performing in Las Vegas and played their first big show at the Bite of Las Vegas Festival in 2009. The performance led to a spike in local sales of Imagine Dragons tickets and the band was soon named “Best Local Indie Band 2010” by Las Vegas magazine and “Las Vegas’ Newest Must See Live Act” by Las Vegas CityLife. Both accolades fueled demand for Imagine Dragons tickets in the Las Vegas area before they signed a major label deal with Interscope Records in 2011. Before their major label debut, Imagine Dragons released three EPs, a self-titled release in 2009, Hell and Silence in 2010 and Continued Silence in 2012.

Night Visions was released in September of 2012 and the popularity of the band quickly took off. As more record sales were being made, the sales of any Imagine Dragons tickets were also increasing for various performances. In 2013, the band set out on European and North American tours, bringing high demand for Imagine Dragons tickets in numerous countries. Due to the popularity of Imagine Dragons tickets, the band had to bow out from dates as the supporting act for Muse. The revenue earned from Imagine Dragons tickets gave the ban a place on Pollstar’s Top 20 Concert Tours in 2013.

Since releasing Night Visions, Imagine Dragons have been on three headlining tours. Imagine Dragons Tour was their first, Night Visions Tour was their biggest at the time spanning from 2012-13. During the Night Visions tour, the demand for Imagine Dragons tickets was so high an additional 13 shows were added during the summer, all of which sold out. In 2014, the band will be on the Into The Night Tour and like the Night Visions tour has seen Imagine Dragons tickets sell out at a majority of the venues.

The trend for the band seems to still be on an upward trend. Their performance at the Grammys with Kendrick Lamar, mashing up “Radioactive” and Lamer’s “m.A.A.d. city” brought even more notoriety to the band. After the Grammys performance, Imagine Dragons tickets continued to be one of the most sought after concert tickets in the country. As a still relatively new band, there’s a strong possibility the popularity of Imagine Dragons will continue to grow over the next few years.
