Since forming in 1981, Motley Crue has been among the most well known rock bands in the world. They are one of the best selling bands of all-time, selling more than 100 million records worldwide. Along with being a well-selling band in the studio, Motley Crue tickets have been in high demand when the band hits the road. The band’s first tour came in 1981 when they just played dates around Northern California. Starting in July of 2014, through the end of 2015, Motley Crue tickets will be available around the world for the Motley Crue Final Tour. Since 1981, the band has taken part in 34 tours. The band rose to prominence in the mid-80’s with the albums, Shout at the Devil (1983), Theatre of Pain (1985) and Girls, Girls, Girls (1987). The peak came for the band in 1989 with the release of Dr. Feelgood and Motley Crue tickets were able to sell out in any city around the world.
The band went on hiatus in 2002 before announcing a reunion in December of 2004. Since the reunion, Motley Crue has embarked on multiple tours until 2014 when the current tour was announced.
As the name suggests, the Motley Crue Final Tour will be the last for the band. The tour will end with a two-night stay at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. The shows will be played on December 30 and 31, more than three months after the main leg of the tour ends on September 6. As expected, Motley Crue tickets on the primary market have sold out for those final shows.
