A Few Good Reasons to Buy The Eagles Tickets from

Blending country, folk and West Coast rock with close four-part harmonies, Eagles’ unique brand of Americana became one of the defining sounds of the 1970s, producing not just one but two of the biggest selling albums of all time. Multi-instrumentalists Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner first came together as Linda Ronstadt’s backing band in 1971 and a year later released their own self-titled album, scoring a Top 20 hit with the Jackson Browne-penned lead single “Take It Easy.” Desperado, a concept record based on the notorious Wild West ‘Doolin-Dalton’ gang, arrived a year later. While 1974’s harder-edged On The Border, home to both their first number one, “Best Of My Love,” and first appearance from new guitarist Don Felder, and a televised set at the California Jam festival raised their profile even further. But it was 1975’s chart-topping One Of These Nights that propelled the band to global fame, earning them a second No.1 with its title track and a Grammy Award for “Lyin’ Eyes.” The Eagles tickets then went on sale for the band’s first world tour but shortly before a trip to the Far East, Leadon left the band over creative differences and was quickly replaced by Joe Walsh. The group then released two records which incredibly both sold over 30 million copies, a compilation entitled Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and their most celebrated LP, Hotel California. A dissection of America and its decline into materialism and decadence, the album spawned two more number ones, “New Kid In Town” and the title track, and picked up two Grammys, but the band’s line-up soon changed once again when Timothy B. Schmit took over bass duties from Meisner. 1979’s The Long Run produced their final chart-topper, “Heartache Tonight,” but following increased tensions between various members, the group split in 1980. In 1994, The Eagles tickets were released for a lengthy reunion tour, with accompanying live album, Hell Freezes Over, continuing their run of number ones, while all seven members then appeared on stage together at their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1998. A legal battle with Felder ensued after he was fired in 2001, but the band continued to tour throughout the 00s and in 2007, they recorded their first studio album in 18 years, Long Road Out Of Eden. In 2013, they released a career-spanning documentary, History Of The Eagles, and The Eagles tickets for a North American summer tour.
