EverBank Field and the Fans
The only home for the Jaguars has been EverBank Field.
EverBank Field can hold 67,246
people who purchase Jacksonville Jaguars tickets, and can be expanded to 84,000 seats for
college football and special events.
At one point Jacksonville was home to some of the biggest college football games of
the year, this lead to speculation that it was a good location for a professional sports team. This was true as many fans purchased Jacksonville Jaguars
tickets during the early years, but have declined due to the Jaguars' recent lack of success and the popularity of college games.
There was speculation during the 2011 season that the team would be sold and moved due to the difficulty of selling Jacksonville Jaguars tickets. The team was
eventually sold, but new owner Shahid Khan intends to keep the franchise in Jacksonville.
With many fans preferring to watch the NFL from home than at the stadium on Sundays, the Jaguars are having difficulty filing EverBank Stadium, a
sad fact since EverBank Field is one of the nicest stadiums in the league, and should not have difficulty selling Jacksonville Jaguars tickets
