4-4-14: Wrestlemania week continues today in New Orleans with members of the WWE universe hosting an anti-bullying campaign. Renee Young, Stephanie McMahon, Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, Cameron and Naomi are each set to appear. DDP will host a yoga event at the Holiday Inn and there will be a tales from wrestling show featuring hall of famers Scott Hall and Jake Roberts at the House of Blues New Orleans. There are now 8,450 Wrestlemania tickets available on the secondary market with an average price of $137 and a get-in price of just $10.
4-3-14: The WWE is doing their best to make the experience in New Orleans for Wrestlemania a memorable one. Today The Usos, Tamina Snuka, Sin Cara, Hornswoggle and Ricardo Rodriguez each participating in honoring the city's cab drivers by serving free food and drinks. Multiple Daniel Bryan “Yes!” chants have also been started at New Orleans airports.
4-2-14: WrestlingINC.com gave some insight into a possible spoiler for Wrestlemania 30 with their report that Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton is scheduled to headline multiple live events after this Sunday. Bryan will also be teaming up with John Cena to face Orton and Bray Wyatt for many dark matches after the Pay Per View.
4-1-14: While still not officially announced for the Andre The Giant memorial Battle Royal at this Sunday's Wrestlemania XXX, big man Alexander Rusev is one of the favorites to win based on Vegas betting odds. Both he and The Big Show lead the way followed by Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, and Alberto Del Rio.
3-28-14: WWE announcer Justin Roberts announced Tool on stage on during their performance on March 27th at US Airways Arena in Phoenix. With just over a week to go until Wrestlemania, prices are down 9% this week. Average ticket price is $172 with the cheapest seats going for as low as $15.
3-27-14: A four way tag team match has been added to the Wrestlemania card for the Tag Team Championships. The Usos will defend their titles against Ryback & Curtis Axel, Los Matadores, and the Real Americans. The Shield have also been confirmed to face Kane and The New Age Outlaws in a 6 man tag team match.
3-26-14: On the March 24th edition of Raw from the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, Christian won a 4 way match for the number one contender to the Intercontinental title. He then had to back out of the match the next night on “Main Event” due to a concussion suffered at Raw. Christian will be a part of the 30 man Andre The Giant Battle Royal at Wrestlemania.
3-25-14: Three more matches for Wrestlemania were confirmed on last night's WWE Raw from the Barlcay's Center in Brooklyn. The Usos will defend their tag team titles against The Real Americans and Ryback and Curtis Axel. AJ Lee will defend her Diva's Championship in a multi diva match. The Shield will face the team of Kane and the New Age Outlaws in a 6 person tag match.
3-24-14: With just 2 weeks until Wrestlemania, the stage is set for a star studded Raw tonight in Brooklyn. International movie star and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger is scheduled to appear, as is Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker. Scooby Doo is also slated to make an appearance to promote the new WWE/Scooby Doo cartoon movie.
3-21-14: You now have a chance to own a piece of Wrestlemania history. Stadium seats from the Pontiac Silverdome are now available for purchase online. A single seat costs $100. The Silverdome was the home of Wrestlemania III which featured perhaps Hulk Hogan's most memorable moment when he body slammed Andre The Giant.
3-20-14: Two more matches have been tentatively penciled in for Wrestlemania XXX: The Usos are likely to defend their tag team titles in a triple threat match with The Real Americans and Ryback and Curtis Axel. Also the Shield are expected to take on the team of the New Age Outlaws and Kane. Wrestlemania ticket prices have trended downward 11% on the resale market this week.
3-18-14: With just under 3 weeks until Wrestlemania, tickets currently average $216 on the secondary market & cheapest available seat is $30. That;s currently 46% below last year's event at MetLife Stadium. Mark Henry, the Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and more have each entered their name into the event's inaugural Andre The Giant Battle Royal.

History Of Wrestlemania
Wrestlemania is the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment)'s premier event. Taking place in late March or early April, Wrestlemania was the brain child of WWE chairman Vince McMahon. To date, there have been 29 Wrestlemania events, with each airing on Pay Per View. 28 of the 29 have seen Wrestlemania tickets sell out on the primary market.
Wrestlemania I took place on March 31st, 1985 at Madison Square Garden. The main event saw Hulk Hogan and Mr. T take on Roddy Piper and Paul Orndoff in a tag team match with special guest referee Muhammad Ali. The attendance was 19,121.
Wrestlemania II was split between New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Although there were technical issues during the show, the total attendance was 40,085. Wrestlemania tickets included a main event of Hulk Hogan vs King King Bundy in a steel cage match.
Wrestlemania III took place on March 29th, 1987 at the now defunct Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan. This saw a record attendance of 93,173 and those with Wrestlemania tickets that night witnessed one of the most memorable images in WWE history when Hulk Hogan body slammed Andre The Giant.
Both Wrestlemania IV and Wrestlemania V partnered Vince McMahon with Donald Trump as both year's events took place at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, NJ. The “Macho Man” Randy Savage headlined both events, taking on Ted DeBiase for Wrestlemania IV and Hulk Hogan for Wrestlemania V.
Those with Wrestlemania tickets for it's sixth annual event on April 1, 1990 we're treated to a rare title for title match that saw The Ultimate Warrior defeat Hulk Hogan for both the intercontinental and the WWF championships.
Wrestlemania VII took place on March 24, 1991 at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena and was main evented by Sgt. Slaughter vs Hulk Hogan for the WWF championship.
The eight edition of Wrestlemania saw it visit Indianapolis' RCA Dome with a double main event of Ric Flair vs Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice. This was notably during Flair's short 90's tenure with the company.
The 16,891 with Wrestlemania tickets in 1993 we're treated to a bizarre ending with Hulk Hogan ultimately coming away with the WWF championship after Yokozuna had won it from Bret Hart earlier that evening.
Wrestlemania X returned to Madison Square Garden and saw a rematch of Yokozuna and Bret Hart for the WWF championship, however the show was arguably stolen by a ladder match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Title.
Wrestlemania XI saw another celebrity headline Wrestlemania as Lawrence Taylor took on Bam Bam Bigelow. The 16,305 with Wrestlemania tickets that night also saw appearances from Pamela Anderson and Johnathan Taylor Thomas.
Wrestlemania XII took place March 31st 1996 and was headlined by a memorable Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels 60 minute iron man match.
Wrestlemania 13 is when the WWF was transitioning into the “Attitude Era”. The Undertaker defeated Sycho Sid for the WWF Championship in the main event.
Those with Wrestlemania XIV tickets surely remember the birth of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as he finally earned his first world championship, thanks in part to Mike Tyson.
Wrestlemania XV at Philadelphia's First Union Center saw Austin headline yet again against the “Corporate Champion” The Rock.
Wrestlemania 2000 on April 2nd, 2000 returned to the Arrowhead Pond for the 2nd time in 5 years. A four way elimination match was the main event.
Wrestlemania X-Seven fully embraced the “Attitude Era” and is widely considered as one of the best Wrestlemanias of all time. Those with Wrestlemania tickets that night still rave about the thrilling “Tables, Ladders, and Chairs” match between the Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz, and Edge & Christian. The main event saw Austin and the Rock yet again meet for the WWF championship.
Wrestlemania X8 saw the home town Chris Jericho headline against Triple H and Wrestlemania tickets quickly sold out to fill the 68,237 capacity Skydome in Toronto.
Wrestlemania XIX at Safeco Field in Seattle is most remembered for a botch shooting star press which almost ended Brock Lesnar's career during his championship match with defending champ Kurt Angle. The event also featured Limp Bizkit perform The Undertaker's theme song “Rolling” live.
Wrestlemania XX was billed as “Where It All Begins Again” and returned to Madison Square Garden. The most iconic image from the event is champions Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit embracing to confetti in the ring. Three years later both would be deceased by very differing circumstances.
Wrestlemania 21 at the Staples Center saw former “Evolution” members Triple H and Batista battle it out for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
Wrestlemania 22 took place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago and saw the rise of John Cena as the face of the WWE. Cena defended his WWE championship in the main event vs Triple H.
Cena's reign at the top of the company continued into Wrestlemania 23 the next year at Ford Field. Cena took on “Mr. Wrestlemania” Shawn Michaels in the night's main event.
Wrestlemania XXIV returned to the roman numeral format and utilized the Florida Citrus Bowl. The 74,000+ that purchased Wrestlemania tickets for that night saw The Undertaker continue his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania and earn the World Heavyweight Championship from Edge.
Wrestlemania XXV on April 5th, 2009 saw another headlining match between ex “Evolution” members. The upstart Randy Orton challenged Triple H for the WWE Championship.
Wrestlemania XXVI was unique in that it was not headlined by a title match but instead by the famed “Streak vs Career” match which saw the Undertake defeat Shawn Michaels and then the two embrace mid-ring after.
Wrestlemania XXVII has generally been regarded as the weakest of the modern era, with a main event featuring John Cena and The Miz. Wrestlemania tickets for the Georgia Dome still quickly sold out.
Wrestlemania XXVIII featured home town hero The Rock take on John Cena for the first time. The 78,363 at Sunlife Stadium were not disappointed.
Wrestlemania 29 returned to the New York/New Jersey area as Wrestlemania tickets hit the market for MetLife Stadium. The event paid tribute to the rebuilding efforts after Hurricane Sandy and saw a rematch of The Rock vs John Cena in the main event.
This year's Wrestlemania takes place April 6th at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Wrestlemania XXX will be headlined by a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton will defend the title against Royal Rumble winner Batista and the winner of the Triple H/Daniel Bryan match earlier in the evening.
