From the Northeast via US-75
Take US-75 (Central Expressway) South toward downtown Exit 1A to Waco (I-35E South). Following Exit 1A, take the Pearl Street Exit and stay on the service road toward Olive Street. Make a right onto Olive Street to American Airlines Center and turn right on North Houston Street.
From the Northwest via I-35 East
Take I-35 East (Stemmons Freeway) toward downtown Dallas. Take the Oaklawn/Victory Avenue/Hi Line Exit and stay on the service road. Turn left on Victory Avenue and proceed toward the American Airlines Center.
From the South via I-35E North
Traveling on I-35E North (Stemmons Freeway) toward Denton, take Exit 429C to Victory Avenue/Hi Line Drive and turn right on Victory Avenue. Proceed toward the American Airlines Center.
From the West/Fort Worth via I-30 East
Traveling on I-30 East, take Exit 45A to I-35 North to Denton. Then take Exit 429C to Victory Avenue/Hi Line Drive and proceed toward the American Airlines Center.
Parking lots open two (2) hours prior to the start of each event. There are eight general parking lots located around the American Airlines Center labeled Lots A-M, with the exception of Lots D, I, J, K and L. To access these lots for Mavericks and Stars games, most parking is reserved for pre-paid parking pass holders, though cash parking is available for most games in AudiPark Parking. Rates vary from $15-$40 based on the proximity of the lot to the venue.
Gate Locations and openings
The American Airlines Center has four main entrances labeled in accordance to their general direction. Fans can enter the venue through the North, South, East or West Entrance. For Mavericks games, gates will open two (2) hours prior to game time. For Stars games, all doors open one (1) hour prior to game time. When concerts are being held, gates will open one (1) hour prior to the event unless otherwise noted.
All bags and personal items are subject to search by venue personnel upon arriving to the American Airlines Center. Only fanny packs, purses and clear plastic bags that do not exceed 14 inches x 14 inches x 6 inches will be allowed inside. If fans fail to comply with random bag search, they will not be granted entrance into the venue.
