12-1-14: Kansas State cruised past rival Kansas 51-13 behind another record setting day from wide receiver Tyler Lockett. Lockett had nine catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns. He has 26 touchdowns for his career to tie his father Kevin’s school mark. He broke his father's receptions record, with his total now sitting at 222 for his career. The Wildcats will get a chance to play for a piece of the Big 12 title next week at Baylor.

11-24-14: Kansas State held on to a share of first place in the Big 12 with a 26-20 win Thursday in Morgantown. Jake Waters threw for 400 yards and a touchdown on 22 of 34 passing. The Wildcat run game managed only one rushing yard for the game. In total, Kansas State was out gained by West Virginia 433-401 but did force four Mountaineer turnovers. They play Kansas this week.

11-10-14: The Wildcats saw their five game winning streak, and possession of first place in the Big 12, come crashing down in Saturday in Fort Worth as TCU crushed them 41-20. Wildcats wide receiver Tyler Lockett become the school's all-time yardage leader, passing his father Kevin Lockett with his 11-catch, 196 yard performance Saturday. All in all, the Horned Frog dynamic offense and defense was too much for Bill Snyder’s club. They have a bye this week to ponder and recover after this crushing defeat.

11-3-14: Kansas State scored 45 straight points after allowing a touchdown to Oklahoma State on the game's opening drive, en route to an easy 48-14 victory. Curry Sexton had 159 yards and a touchdown on nine catches. K-State's defense held the Cowboys to just 261 yards. They forced three turnovers. They have a huge matchup this week against TCU in Fort Worth.

10-27-14: The Wildcats avoided a letdown this week after they beat Oklahoma in stunning fashion last week. Kansas State cruised by Texas 23-0. It is their fourth straight victory and first shutout in conference play in 11 years. Jake Waters threw for 224 yards, and got rushing touchdowns from DeMarcus Robinson and Charles Jones. The Wildcats also got three field goals. Bill Snyder’s bunch will host Oklahoma State this week.

10-20-14: Kansas State finds itself alone atop the Big 12 after going into Oklahoma and pulling off the 31-30 road upset. Quarterback Jake Waters had another huge game. Waters threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns. His four-yard TD run midway through the third quarter that proved to be the difference. The Wildcats were outgained 533-385, but managed to find a way to win. AP No. 11 K-State hosts Texas this week.

10-15-14: Bill Snyder’s squad had a week off before a critical stretch of games in which the Wildcats will face Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and TCU. Kansas State quarterback Jake Waters has 1,206 passing yards and 320 rushing yards along with 13 total touchdowns. 10-1-14: The Wildcats bounced back from last week's tough home loss to Auburn by dominating the UTEP Miners, jumping out to an early 45-0 lead en route to a 58-28 victory. Kansas State got 209 passing yards and a touchdown from quarterback Jake Waters, who also ran for a TD. Charles Jones ran for three scores. K-State held the Miners to just 260 total yards. The Wildcats host Texas Tech this weekend.

9-22-14: The Wildcats were oh so close to pulling off the upset of Auburn this past Thursday. The Tigers squeezed out a 20-14 victory over Bill Snyder’s team. QB Jake Waters threw for 245 yards, but he also tossed two picks, with one in the Auburn end zone. The Wildcats also fumbled the ball away, and Jack Cantele missed three crucial field goals. What could have been if they didn’t make those mistakes. Kansas State will host UTEP this week.

9-15-14: The Kansas State Wildcats were idle this past week, but have a huge challenge this week as they take on No. 5 Auburn this Thursday. According to the Kansas City Star, Auburn will be the highest-ranked nonconference opponent visiting Manhattan since No. 2 Penn State in 1969. Last week, K-State was mistake-prone against Iowa State. They committed 10 penalties for 77 yards and surrendering 28 straight points in the first half. The Wildcats rallied to win 32-28, but need to focus and be more discipline this week.

9-9-14: Kansas State won its Big 12 opener 33-28 over Iowa State in dramatic fashion, scoring the game's final 19 points. The Wildcats led 13-0 before allowing ISU to take control of the game. K-State would recover as QB Jake Waters recorded a game-winning rushing TD on an eight-yard run with 1:30 remaining in the game. Waters finished with 377 yards of total offense, including 138 on the ground on 20 carries. The Wildcats have a bye next week.

Running back Charles Jones added a pair of TD’s on the ground, and the K-State defense held Stephen F. Austin to just 294 yards. Up next, K-State travels to Ames, IA to take on the Iowa State Cyclones.
