Ground broke in August of 2000, with the stadium officially opening on October 18, 2002. The AT&T Center is home to the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA as well as the San Antonio Stars of the WNBA and San Antonio Rampage of the AHL. It has also been the host site for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo since 2003.
From Northwest San Antonio via I-10 East
From I-10 East, continue through downtown and take the Houston Street Exit. Turn left on Houston Street to the AT&T Center.
From Northeast San Antonio via I-35 South
From I-35 South, take the Loop 410 South Exit and then exit at W.W. White Road. Turn right on Gembler Road and left on AT&T Center Parkway to the AT&T Center.
From West San Antonio via US Highway 90 East
From I-35 North, take Exit 1-10 East and exit at New Braunfels. Turn left on New Braunfels Avenue and turn right on Houston Street to the AT&T Center.
From North Central San Antonio
From US Highway 281 South, travel through downtown and take the I-10 East Exit. Exit on Houston Street and turn left on Houston Street to the AT&T Center.
The AT&T Center features more than 70,000 available spots for fans driving to the game. There are seven (7) general lots surrounding the venue and parking prices vary based on proximity to the Center. Lots are labeled numerically from 1-7, with Lots 1-3 located the closest to the venue to the south. Lots 4-7 are located more north. For Spurs games, Lots 6 and 7 are $10. Lots 1 and 4 are $15. Lots 2 and 3 are $20.
Gates and Openings
Gates typically open one (1) hour prior to game time. Gates A and B are located off of Houston Street, to the south of the venue.
Small handbags and purses will be allowed into the venue but will be inspected by venue personnel. Failure to comply with staff searching of bags will result in persons being denied entrance into the AT&T Center. Signs will be posted outside of the venue listing specific safety precautions staff will take before permitting fans into the AT&T Center.
