Directions (Car Only)
From the North via Sawgrass Expressway
Take the Sawgrass Expressway South to the Oakland Park Boulevard exit. After the toll plaza, make a left turn onto Oakland Park Boulevard and proceed to the far right lane. Make a right turn onto Flamingo Road. Proceed on Flamingo Road in either of the two right lanes for one block and make a right turn at the traffic signal onto Panther Parkway (136th Avenue). BB&T Center is a half mile South on the right. Stay in the far right lanes, enter through Gate 3 and park as directed.
From the South via Sawgrass Expressway
Take the Sawgrass Expressway North to the Pat Salerno Drive Exit and proceed through the toll plaza. Stay in the right two lanes and exit to the right at Pat Salerno Drive directly into BB&T Center at Gate 1 or Gate 2 and park as directed.
From the West (Fort Lauderdale) via I-595
Take I-595 West to Exit 1 (136th Avenue) and proceed North. 136th Avenue will then turn into Panther Parkway. The BB&T Center is one mile North of Sunrise Boulevard on the left. Stay in the left lane and enter through Gate 7 and park as directed.
There are seven (7) gates accessible to enter for parking when guests drive to the BB&T Center. Gates 1, 2, 3 and 7 are designated for general parking. Limousines enter through Gate 6 and will pay double the amount of a normal-sized vehicle to park. (i.e. if a car costs $20 to park, a bus would cost $40). Buses enter through Gate 2 and will pay double the amount of a normal-sized vehicle to park. (i.e. if a car costs $20 to park, a bus would cost $40). For season ticket holders, parking prices vary. Full season ticket holders park for free, half-season ticket plans will cost $5 pre-paid, mini plans cost $10 pre-paid, and day of event is $20 but varies by game.
Gates and Openings
For most events, gates open one (1) hour prior to start time.
In accordance with the NHL bag policy, guests may only carry clear plastic or vinyl bags that do not exceed the size of 12 x 6 x 12. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc) will be permitted as well as small handbags and purses. Staff personnel have the right to check all bags at random before guests enter the arena. Failure to comply with staff will result in being denied access into the BB&T Center.
