The MGM Grand Garden Arena has been the host venue to many notable events, such as pro boxing superfights including that of Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. Some of the greatest music artists in the world have also performed at the Arena including Elton John, Billy Joel, Bee Gees, Diana Ross, and Britney Spears to name a few.
From Las Vegas
Get on I-515 N/US-93 N/US-95 N. Take I-15 S to W Tropicana Ave in Paradise. Take exit 37 from I-15 S. Continue on W Tropicana Ave. Merge onto W Tropicana Ave. Turn left onto S Las Vegas Blvd. Turn right at Rue De Monte Carlo. Turn right as destination will be on the right
From McCarran International Airport
Head east from Wayne Newton Blvd. Bear right at Swenson Street and head toward the airport exit. Turn left onto E. Tropicana Ave. Turn right into MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Exit and head east on E. Tropicana. Cross Las Vegas Blvd. and turn left into MGM Grand Garden Arena.
There is free parking available at the MGM Grand in their main parking garage. There is also valet parking with oversized vehicle parking available to patrons as well.
Gate Locations and openings
Doors open at the MGM Grand Garden Arena about 90 minutes before the start of an event. The massive lions mouth main entrance was replaced in 1998 as patrons can now expect a more traditional entrance at the MGM Grand.
No large bags or backpacks are allowed entry into the facility but bags of normal size are allowed, but audio recorders and flash photography are prohibited.
