Via I-20 east
Take Exit 82 (State Route 138 at Conyers) and turn left onto SR 138 at the stoplight. Continue 20 miles where SR 138 merges into US Highway 78 east. After 18 miles, turn right onto SR 316. Drive approximately 4 miles until Athens Bypass (State Route 10 loop) southbound. Take College Station Road Exit and then turn left.
Via I-20 west
Take exit at US Highway 78 north (west) to Athens. After continuing on US-78 north, turn left at the Athens Bypass (State Route 10 loop). Take College Station Road Exit and turn right at the end of the ramp.
Via I-85 north
Take SR 316 approximately 40 miles and turn right at the Athens Bypass (State Route 10 loop) southbound. Exit at College Station Road and turn left. Turn right on East Campus Road.
Via I-85 south
Exit at Highway 106 (Exit 166). Follow straight road to Athens until it becomes Danielsville Road and then North Avenue. Continue into downtown Athens from North Avenue, which then becomes Thomas Street and then East Campus Road.
Free public parking is located on East Campus, surrounding the Ramsey Center off College Station Road. These spaces run on a first-come, first-served basis.
When these spots fill, overflow parking is located at the Intramural Fields. These spaces must be left three hours after the game ends. Remaining cars after this time period will be towed.
Season parking passes are offered at four locations:
South Campus Parking Deck: $210 ($30/game)
North Campus Parking Deck: $140 ($20/game)
Performing Arts Center (PAC) Deck: $140 ($20/game)
Campus Parking Deck: $140 ($20/game)
RV season passes are available and are $125 per game.
RV single game permits are available and are $100 per game.
Gate Locations and Openings
16 gates exist throughout Sanford Stadium in numerical order from 1-10, though only seven can be accessed by fans attending the game. The main gate is located on the west side of the stadium, while gates 2, 4, 7A and 7B, 9, and 10 can also be used by fans. Gates 1, 3, and 4 are student gates while gates 6, 7, 8, and 9 are faculty gates. Gate 5 is the visiting team's family gate while the home team's family gate is located directly to the right of the main gate on the west side of the stadium. Gate 10 is used as the Dawg Walk Entrance.
Bags over 11 inches x 13 inches will not be permitted inside Sanford Stadium. All bags are subject to inspection at random. Individuals that refuse to allow a search of their bags will be granted access into the stadium. Additionally, any prohibited items (i.e. alcohol, fluid bottles, weapons) must be returned to cars or disposed of before gaining admittance inside Sanford Stadium.
