6-21-16: Four nations remain in the Copa America Centenario Tournament, as the Semifinal stage will see the U.S. play Argentina at NRG Stadium in Houston on Tuesday while Colombia and Chile meet at Soldier Field in Chicago on Wednesday. And perhaps expectedly, the USMNT's match with tournament juggernaut Argentina is generating much higher ticket prices on the secondary market than that of Colombia vs Chile. U.S. vs Argentina tickets now average $350 and the get-in price is $168. That is more than 50% higher on average than that of Colombia vs Chile tickets, which own a resale average of $232. The cheapest ticket to Wednesday's match is now $78. The winner of each match will go on to play in the Final at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, while the two losers will play in the Third Place match at University of Phoenix Stadium on Saturday.
6-15-16: Following an exciting Group Stage, the Quarterfinals are officially set for the 2016 Copa America Centenario. The action kicks off on Thursday night with a match between the U.S. and Ecuador at Seattle's CenturyLink Field. Peru and Colombia will battle the following night at MetLife Stadium while Saturday welcomes two matches between Argentina and Venezuela at Gillette Stadium and Mexico and Chile at Levi's Stadium.
4-11-16: The Copa America Centenario will hold its Final at MetLife Stadium on June 26, and tickets to the landmark match are now available to the general public. Copa America Centenario Final tickets range from $140.50 to $2,016 dependent on seating location. An eight (8) person limit will be in place per household.
3-22-16: Single-match Copa America Centenario tickets are now on sale to the general public. Tickets are available for both the Group Stage match between Ecuador and Haiti on June 12 and the Quarterfinal (1B vs 2A) on June 17. Ecuador vs Haiti tickets on Ticketmaster range from $72-$670 dependent on seating while pricing for the Quarterfinal match will be slightly more expensive, with tickets listed between $82.50 and $730. According to the tournament's official website, more single-match ticket information will be announced at a later date.
2-22-16: The Copa America Centenario Group Stage matches have officially been announced. 24 initial matches will be held across all four groups, with the U.S. leading Group A. Within Group A will also be Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay. Group B's top seed will be Brazil, while Ecuador, Haiti and Peru round out the group. The top seed in Group C will be Mexico, alongside Uruguay, Jamaica and Venezuela. Group D will be lead by Argentina while Chile, Panama and Bolivia also appear in the group. Action kicks off at Levi's Stadium on June 3.
2-4-16: It's the moment soccer fans across the U.S. have been waiting for - Copa America Centenario are now on sale to the general public. And as expected, they are selling fast. Ticketmaster has opened its platform for "venue passes", which give fans access to multiple games at each participating stadium in the tournament. Prices for each venue pass varies depending on stadium, as some stadiums will host more matches than others. For example, those fans who purchase a Bay Area venue pass for matches held at Levi's Stadium will have access to all four matches held there as opposed to those who buy the New York/New Jersey pass at MetLife Stadium, which only includes two matches. Single-match tickets are expected to go on sale soon.
1-28-16: Anticipation continues to build for the 2016 Copa America Centenario, whick kicks off in the U.S. in June. Copa America Centenario Venue Passes, which grant access to all games at one particular venue of the tournament (excluding the Final at MetLife Stadium on June 26), go on sale Wednesday, February 3 at 12 p.m. local venue time. Being called "Phase 1", the onsale will close on Friday, February 19 at 12 p.m. ET. Phase 2 will see Venue Passes go back on sale on Sunday, February 21 at 5 p.m. ET.
1-19-15: The 2016 Copa America Centenario Draw will officially be held at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on February 21. The event will schedule the remaining 12 nations into the tournament's four respective groups, which are fronted by the United States, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
12-12-15: The first four seeds have been announced for the 2016 Copa America Centenario in June. As the hosting nation the United States will claim the first seed, followed by Brazil in Group B and Mexico in Group C. Argentina will represent Group D as the highest-ranked FIFA nation in the Americas, as of December 15. The tournament will take place across 10 NFL-sized venues between June 3 and 26. Ticketing information will follow as the tournaments inches closer.
